Navarro County, TX: While tending to a disabled 18-wheeler on IH-45, a pickup truck plowed into a state troopers' cruiser early this morning. The troopers were taken to the local hospital and were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Source: Navarro County, TX- On March 13, 2025, at approximately 6:40 am, two Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Texas Highway Patrol Troopers were struck by a pickup truck while they were assisting a disabled wehicle on SB Interstate Highway 45 near the 235-mile marker. The Troopers were both outside of the patrol unit when the pickup truck hit their patrol unit and then struck the two Troopers. Both Troopers were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The driver who hit them was not injured. SB I45 remains closed for investigation.
