A crash on southbound Interstate 35E near Commerce Street on the west edge of downtown Dallas blocked left lanes and slowed the early commute Wednesday morning, according to KRLD Traffic. KRLD posted about the wreck at 5:41 a.m. CT along with a TxDOT traffic-camera still time-stamped 5:35 a.m. The image appears to show several emergency vehicles with flashing lights stopped across the left side of the southbound lanes, an overhead sign indicating a closed lane, and traffic squeezing by on the right. FOX 4 traffic reporter Chip Waggoner (@chipwfox4) reported at about 5:57 a.m. that the crash past Commerce Street was blocking three left lanes, said two left lanes were still blocked at about 6:27 a.m., and reported the scene clear by about 6:45 a.m. Injuries were not reported in the traffic updates reviewed for this draft.
