Source: Early this morning, just after 2:30 a.m., an SUV suspected of traveling northbound on N. Garland Ave. at a high rate of speed struck another vehicle in the intersection of Garland Ave. and Kingsley Rd. Sadly, the driver, and only occupant, of the other vehicle did not survive. The SUV’s driver, suspected of driving while intoxicated, has been arrested and charged with Intoxication Manslaughter. A passenger from the SUV was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
