MCKINNEY, Texas - Friends, family, and colleagues are rallying behind a McKinney firefighter who has life-threatening injuries.
The McKinney Fire Department said Captain James "Bull" Graham was off duty when he was badly injured in a crash.
His pickup truck reportedly collided with an 18-wheeler Wednesday afternoon near Highway 360 and Power House Street, east of Highway 75.
Graham is currently on life support.
He’s been with the department since 1999 and was promoted to captain seven years ago.
The city said he’s a leader in the Special Operations group and has been involved in extrication training nationwide.
He’s also a member of Texas Task Force 2 which helps with urban search and rescue situations.
Graham’s wife and three adult sons are reportedly by his side at the hospital.
