Man on electric bike killed in Arlington crash

ARLINGTON, Texas - An 89-year-old man was hit and killed while riding an electric bike in Arlington.
It happened around 11:30 a.m. Sunday along New York Avenue near the Tarrant County College Southeast Campus.
Police said the cyclist was hit by a pickup truck while crossing the road.
He died at the hospital.
The pickup truck driver did stop to help and called 911.
No charges have been filed.
